Blanket Blitz
These are photos from my Blanket Blitz 2009. I have raised private dollars through
my Palmetto Tomorrow foundation to buy blankets for underprivileged seniors across
the state. We have also had some corporate help from Wal-Mart and Duke Energy. I
have purchased close to 5,000 blankets from a South Carolina based company and have
been traveling around the state distributing. These pictures come from my trip to
the cities of Myrtle Beach, Conway, Florence, Mt. Zion, Nesmith, Charleston, Beaufort,
Ridgeland, and Walterboro. I will continue my initiative covering all corners of
the state in the coming weeks. Let me know if you would like to contribute to the
cause, or if you know of any underprivileged seniors that may need a warm blanket.
